Did you ever notice how often we use trees for symbols in everyday life? Or how many different trees are out there in all walks of life?
Trees are symbolic and used to deliver messages. There is a tree for every story and a story for every tree.
Stop and think how stories impact our everyday life. We make up short stories in our heads for every action and conversation. Stories allow us to connect to one another and empathize with each other. We all enjoy a good story - whether a novel, a movie, or simply something one of our friends is explaining to us.
Why is our life full of Stories?
The simple answer is this: We are wired that way. We think in narratives all day long, no matter if we are taking a short trip, planning a party, scheduling our work day, or just on our driving route home.
Everything we do is about a story.
The next time you struggle with getting people on board with your projects and ideas, simply tell them a story about your experience or what it means to you. Watch the "power of story" open their mind!
Trees are Nature’s Gladiator.
Despite their great imbalance, Trees fight to keep a foothold in the most extreme conditions. This strength is one of the characteristics that has led to the symbolic use of trees.
The tree has three parts we often use in terms of symbolism – it’s roots, its branches, and its trunk. The Roots lie deep in the ground drawing up nutrients and providing a solid base foundation. Branches hold the protection canopy containing leaves that draw energy from its surroundings. The tree Trunk stands above ground providing a material core strength for the whole structure.
In bringing balance to our life, it could be said we must be somewhat like a Tree - maintain a solid base, draw material strength from our core, and create energy from our surroundings.
The StoryTree Difference
StoryTree recognizes that you have many choices on the internet to join different types of social media networks. We have provided a comfortable, relaxing and safe environment to share stories and personally connect with like-minded members of your choice.
Some social media networks limit your self-expression by asking adherence to a conformed structure or topic of discussion. At StoryTree, we allow you to share the personal stories that are most meaningful to you.
The benefits of sharing life experiences on StoryTree provides unlimited opportunities for interactions that can develop into new bonds, friendships, or even valuable business connections, bringing an enhancement of knowledge, personal, and spiritual growth.
